Where should I advertise my app?

Hi, I am wondering if you have any suggestion of where should I advertise my app so that I can get more downloads (Not about getting paid by ads, I want to advertise). I put an ad for each of my apps on facebook, many clicks them, but according to Facebook, no one downloads them yet. So do you have any suggestion where I should place my ads so I don’t wind up wasting money.
