Hi, I have uploaded an app to Google Play and it has about 30 downloads but in startapp dashboard it shows it has non. does it mean I have integrate the startapp sdk wrong or what? 30 downloads and 21 five star ratings? The fake ratings will not bring any revenue I guess…
Well I am not concerned about revenue. But in startapp dashboard it shows that I have 0 downloads. I don’t know why is it like that
didn’t use (yet) startapp, but your question doesn’t make ANY sense… if you get downloads on your app say in google play, why will it show in your startapp admin??? only if you get clicks/downloads from the ADS you showing from startapp, only than you’ll see some activity there.
oh, and 21 5 star reviews for less than 50 downloads, really?? can this be more obvious?? hehe

The downloads column on the StartApp dashboard is for their PPD solution only.
On a separate note, their dashboard updates once per 24 hour period.
Yes I have noticed the 24 hour period.
last cycle I downloaded some apps from ads but it still shows 0. So it should be visible but I don’t know. The important thing is I have earned my first time 24 cents. GG life, life won :D. Sorry for my stupid question but what exactly does PPD mean? I suppose something somethings Per Download?
“Per Per Download”. StartApp used to offer really competitive PPD rates, but eventually Google updated their policies which prohibited these types of ad packages. StartApp still do offer a PPD solution, but its coming to an end in it’s current form on the 31st of July. Full details can be found in their SDK documentation and on their website.
btw, read somewhere their sdk is not 100% compliant (dosen’t show an X to close their interstital) , is this still so or was this fixed? thinking about should i be using them or not.
