Just out of interest I thought I’d post my methodology in creating a painting for a commission I have. I’m in Florida and he’s in California. That’s almost 3000 miles apart.
He is a friend from our RV club and has seen the paintings I posted on Facebook. He initially wanted a painting of his motorcycle, but when sorting thru his photographs decided he wanted to have his car done instead.
Would love to follow your progress with this Brian. Excellent call on scrapping that photo for the background, the car would be lost in it. Mountains set back far enough with a winding road leading back to them might be nice.
