Good that they don’t ban your app for fake clicks! But the numbers are pretty good! How are you planning on making it more popular? Just more of what you did in the beginning? Like Facebook, Twitter and stuff? I tried it myself through YouTube and it actually did raise the download numbers in the beginning. But not so much in Facebook (in my case of course).
Fake clicks*=accidental clicks.
This thing happens with every app.
I am trying to work on the stability ,not promoting, with the current rates,my app will get 1/2 million downloads in an year which isn’t that bad.So I won’t be working on promoting it.
Yes this is my post and my previous account,I just forgot the password of my previous account.
100,000 - 500,000 rupees?
No,I already earn more than 100,000 rs per month with this app.
700$ = 44341.40 Rupees.
2200$ this month and 1400$ the previous one
Earning 100$ a day these days so next month I m expecting 3000-3600$
Any idea how to handle tax stuff in India when apps revenue is noticable???
Please share how to make sure that earnings are without any dispute in future.
My tax from regular hob is deducted automatically and i need not to worry about that.
How to do tax planning for apps revenue???
I want to save every penny if it could be possible.
That’s pretty awesome, good luck with the app I hope it makes it big!
I have a friend who is a CA/CS
Thanks Matthew
Can you share some guidance here please.
Though i have planned a meeting with CA next month.
I can tell u points. May be they help u @gcc
- no need to pay service tax as we are getting paid by non Indian ad networks
- if this is your first year as indie and u hired any Indian developer designer then no need to deduct his tds this year. If this is not first year then u need to deduct your Indian freelancer TDS and deposit to it deptt.
Also if total revenue is more than 25 lakh then we need to go for book keeping using tally etc and then tax audit.
Do share any other points which u feel worth sharing
Dear Javaex,
Thanks for your mature points on TAX.
Here i have my revenue details.
PRESENT YEAR:-
- This is my first year and have made 7-8 Lakh till now. I am working alone in app development.
- Does it mean that i need NOT to pay any TAX on App revenue for this year??
COMING YEAR:-
- YES, it might cross 25,000,00/- INR for coming year based on the Apps progress till now
- Does it mean that i need to go for tax audit directly without any TDS stuff?
- Would you like to share some points i should keep in mind while discussing TAX AUDIT with CA?
Frankly speaking i want to pay least TAX with effective way to keep myself secure from legal TAX issues.
Please guide me on TAX AUDIT. does it make to pay TAX as we pay in regular jobs which is too much.
I will share CA talk with you once its finished.
Thanks.
I will also be making 2lakhs/month from next mont, this month made 2300$
so here is what I will do,
I won’t pay taxes
Since my earnings started only 4-5 months and started from 100$,although I will cross the threshold required to pay taxes,I will just cover it up.
Like all the money I received from freelancing went to my brothers account ,now I will show some lame expenses, saying I paid the developer and won’t pay taxes.
Will start it from next year.
I will make about 6-7 lakhs this year.
And I think taxes are for 3 lakhs and above,it will be hard covering up 3-4 lakhs.
I am not sure if i can show gadgets as an expense or not
It looks very easy on the TAXES, but we should really plan well if want to play for long. showing expenses here and there may not work for long run.
So i will suggest CA guidance.
Please share the points if you know any effective ways and even share if you have any doubts. It will help to others as well.
After all we all from developer family.
for me also getting hold of fake bills is tough task.
good thing is all your business expenses are tax free.
If say your profit is 10lakh, u got to pay approx 3lakh as income tax.
In India came to know that if you have a company in SEZ http://sezindia.nic.in/writereaddata/pdf/ListofoperationalSEZs.pdf
you will be completely tax free for 5 years. Even if your revenue is 100 Crore rupees.
So the best option is register a company in your name might cost you anywhere from 20,000Rs -50,000rs depending on the chartered accountant.
Most difficult part - Try to get a small office space in any of the SEZs, can be rent out space in any of the IT parks.
Dude that’s awesome , thanks
