My first android game got 0 income after a month

Reskin this game with unicorns theme 0

It seems your app has no life in future and it will take atleast 1 yr to gain 1000 download and then 3-4 yr to reach 5000 (if all install comes naturally).Some time i have seen good games not mean lot of download.But your current download rate is showing some thing better what u saying.Its really good to know that your game already gain download and ranking hike.

yes you are right form time to time I got some spikes on Google Play, in august it was from japan and last period was from Brazil. I have suspect (reading other stories) Google play changed his algo and now force apps to metabolize 2-3 months and later from time to time bust visibility and look momentum (feedback and reviews) and if ok let the app to climb up ranks. This is my theory why by now apps took time to get downloads if no promotion is made. Currently I have between 50-80 downloads/day on GP which consider very good for a game without promotion and in this dark time for indipendent devs…winter is coming :slight_smile:

When you make an app, just focus on…

  • The market size (the demand for that type of app)
  • ASO (sending links of your app to friends and family as a start)
