I am planning a new app which will do actions like silent, call on change of device orientation.
Since no dedicated UI is required for user interaction apart from settings screen.
Any ideas how can this app be monetized apart from showing banners in settings screen. Don’t want push/icon/smartwall ads.

you basically have no choice since you dont want “push/icon/smartwall ads”. that is why they exist is specifically for apps that cant use other types of ads but are a free app.
like didldak said, you only other choice is to make it paid.
