Hello guys! i’m just wondering, when i do something with my scenarios, the output will be my local IP or make’s IP for the region that i chose when i registering? (for example i use us2)
and then if i use proxy in my scenarios, it’ll change the IP to the proxy via HTTP or there’s no other way to change the IP of the location?
Thank you very much!
I see it’s been a while since you’ve posted, but I just want to ask if you ended up finding a workaround for the IP changes. I’m running into something similar with a third-party API throwing errors, and I’m wondering if anyone tried using a static IP setup via a gateway or proxy? Curious to hear what solutions others went with.
When running scenarios without a proxy, the IP shown will be your local one, no matter the region you picked during registration. Using a proxy changes the IP to that proxy’s location—usually via HTTP or SOCKS, depending on the setup. Switched to Buy Residential Proxies for a project needing accurate geo-targeting; the IPs really matched the regions, which helped avoid blocks and get reliable results. It’s the only way I found to truly “be” in a different place online.
