I was wondering if anyone knows, does Admob ever review apps manually, or do they just have an automatic system that bans if it detects invalid activity?
Oh, yes they do, i updated my app 4-6 times in 2 days and immediately some one from google reviewed it personally and found a minor fault in it … Any app that gets more then 10K downloads gets reviews manually by some google related people that is what i think …

Sure. When you upload an app to Play Store with admob ad, they associate the app with the admob account. If they detects invalid clicks or another activity, the app will be closed and the admob account will have a strike
