Hey guys so my google play developer account was banned a few months back, over about three years I got 4 strikes and then they wiped me out, but it was on silly stupid apps that I received the strikes, novelty, nothing bad just silly apps we had about 40 apps, and about 7 were silly ones and old apps that I no longer wanted anyway.
I read so many different things about what you need to make another account, I actually have a friend who would do it all now for me and I could just do a revenue share, so for him it would be a new account, new bank details etc. he doesn’t have any history as a developer so It’s all a clean slate. We have a business together already so can use that payment for membership, or will google check the company details and see my name there also???
Normally that’s fine, but what about if I wanted to use some of my apps I had before? (Not the ones that got strikes, just games, and apps that were always 100% compliant). I know you need to change bundle ID , new signing certificate, and obviously change the name of the app, and ad network info etc but do you really need to change every single resource in the app?? Like the names of all the files etc? Screenshots , marketing text etc etc?
Do they really check via IP address? machine footprint etc?! Even if you use a new machine?
I was thinking about using VirtualBox and installing Windows on there, and using a Proxy - but if I set it up, surely I need to use the internet briefly (updates etc) before I can even get to set up the Proxy? Which means they would find the IP? Or would they only find the IP if I access their site first?
