Appodeal — instant payouts, higher revenue.

You sent me a screenshot of your apps personally, don’t you even remember? I wouldn’t even know that otherwise.

You have right tyrion. First time I was banned in 2011, for…graphics what I made myself. Google even not replied to my emails, tried contact them for 2 months. If I could come back, I would stop all these shitty apps like fonts, wallpapers, etc. and make some game. BTW. i’m making game but in Unity3d for ios and windows phone. If you are small, you can’t deal with google so making games for google play isn’t profitable because there is a ban risk for some bullshit. On appstore, they will not let pass app into store but never ban publisher. Just tell what’s wrong. It is what I love in Apple or Windows Phone

I didn’t publish any Windows Phone app. How is their app publishing routine ? Like Apple ?

Similar but it’s half-automated, bot is checking many points of your app and giving you instructions what to change. There can be also a flag for manual moderator review and they will tell you what to change to get into store. Apple is full manual review but…NO BANS, they can help you to make app legit in their stores.
There is also a super possibility for european developers. Apple and Microsoft are side of transaction, so you get only wire from them. You are not selling, they are selling. VAT isn’t applicable, you don’t need even company to get revenue from them.

I mainly use 3 party app stores myself , what is the procedure if you use 3 party stores? I also have my website to get downloads as I like having control and not depending on googleplay who thinks everything is copyright infringement.

What do you mean with “spam to get a higher ranking”? Spamming inside google play? Keyword spamming? Or spam the web posting links everywhere?

I’m just curious, never heard about these kind of violation.

they got me banned on google play

Post a link to your app, if you think your were banned unfairly.

Damn well Appodeal did look promising but

  1. They want you to have apps on googleplay
  2. Then you got banned using their ADs

Because of their ads? Can you show us the mail you got from Google after getting banned?

Appodeal SDK complies with Google Play policies.
We have been testing it for several months, and Google Play compliance is on of our highest priorities.
Since September 2014, when we first launched, we never had a single suspension on Google Play.

If anyone ever gets suspended on Google Play because of our SDK, the very first step would be to reach out me personally or our support team and we will do everything to resolve this matter. Please, provide more information and we will be ready to assist you.

  • Post an e-mail from Google.
  • Post your APK.
  • Post a screenshot of your developer console with an app suspended and a corresponding message.
  • What makes you think, it was Appodeal SDK, that resulted in suspension on Google Play.

Keep in mind, we have suspended multiple users due to fraudulent activity — is that the real problem?

You should let everyone know about this update and the issue you had in the sdk, where @DroidGenie was right, in case someone missed his thread.

Yep, we have already scheduled e-mail notifications to all our valuable customers.

Please, don’t hesitate to inform us, if you encounter any other problems in future.
I am here to listen and help.

Alright first you hint that the guy must have done something wrong on google play , then you say your SDK has been tested with no problems. Now your saying there was a problem and you fixed it , mean while some developers could lose their google play account because of Appodeal.

Now this is the part that sounds like a scam by Appodeal

  1. you said if google play bans you , that raises a red flag that bans you in Appodeal.

  2. But the problem is your SDK will get someone banned from googleplay

  3. Then you collect free traffic and money

Wow this is original but not in a good way.

Looks like its better to own an ad network than being app/game developer.
Every ad network has spoiled developers life in some way or the other.
Here is a screenshot from appnext ads where no close button is present and it appeared today only when testing their ad network. same has happened with other ad networks also.

So either use the network or ignore it and move on.

I was ignoring it until I saw an obvious scam .

That picture in an offer wall from MobileCore? hmmmm theme looks different.

Nobody ever submitted a proof, that his app was banned on Google Play because of Appodeal.
Several times I requested a copy of e-mail from Google, screenshots and APK, but none of this was provided.

Yannis suggested, that there might be a problem, when a user closes app right after an ad was requested and it might result in an ad being displayed outside of the app.
This is a very rare condition, that we have never seen, but nevertheless, we took it seriously and released a new update to prevent it from happening in future.

If someone claims, that his app got banned because of our SDK, I encourage to share screenshots, a copy of e-mail from Google and his APK — none has been shared by this moment.
Therefore, apps, that have been banned on Google Play because of Appodeal SDK — 0.

Please keep in mind, that some scammers don’t like Appodeal, because it has strict policies against fraud.
Some guys claim, that Appodeal has only 6% or only 1% fill rate.

It is very easy to check their words — sign up and give it a try and you will see, that our fillrate is close to 100%.

Appodeal is not making any money on publishers. Our goal is to provide a better service to publishers in long term.
That’s why we offer instant payouts, good support for international payouts and a mediation platform, that accepts bids from ad networks to determine the most profitable ads for publishers and as a result higher eCPM.

Getting apps banned on Google Play is obviously a red flag for us, but it does not mean that we try to keep your money.
It is important for us to have good relationships with Admob and other ad networks. That’s why we are concerned about the quality of the inventory.

If you make good games/good apps, you should not worry about being banned on Google Play or Appodeal.

This is our average eCPM in the U.S. for the last two weeks for your convenience.

As you can see, it keeps growing, because one of our main concerns it to provide better optimization for publishers, integrate more ad networks and enhance our algorithm to pull higher eCPM for you.

Referring screenshot isn’t that same as AppNext Welcome screen sdk ads?Or is MobileCore using same template to show ads in offerwall as AppNext? hmm… Strange.I am sure i saw this same screen template for appnext ads.
