Admob very low ecpm

Hi everybody

my admob revenue dropped 50% last 2 weeks.

anybody same?

thanks in advance.

Same thing here, but since it’s the beginning of the year, it’s something quite normal

CPC went down almost twice, fill rate is at around 90%.

While I am also not happy with, this is very normal for the beginning of the yar

My Admob Rpms have dropped over 50% in the past few months, now its even worse in January…
Last year January and February (and year before) were as strong as the December before them. I think there might be a movement to new ad types and solutions for advertisers in other mobile areas.
Hope something changes soon.

Unfortunately I see the same  ~50% less than year ago. Maybe admob itself is not so strong anymore and more advertisers moved to other mobile networks.

Btw. are you using any mediation? From my experience admob always was the best. The only network with similar results was Facebook Ads.

And the next question, have you connected your admob with firebase? Admob claims that it may improve the overall ads performance. This is the biggest change in admob in the last year. Previously they integrated admob with adsense. Could anyone confirm the better results?

For the first time in my life my apps overall eCPM rate is failing to reach $1.00 eCPM rate for admob overall now it is dipped down to 86-94 cent daily overall eCPM rate. Only thing I can do now is try to boost my impressions maybe show ads more often in my apps.

I noticed my revenue tank since the Note 7 recall. When note 7 came out my revenue spike a month later they get recalled and revenue drops. Hopefully Galaxy 8 Sales will boost my revenue.

It is very sad, that the income got reduced almost twice and you cannot do anything with that.

The CPC in my case got reduced more than two times. Right now even in USA my CPC is in average 3.75 cents and in most of other countries it is even 1 cent. Happily the impressions started to grow.

My observation has always been like this in January. At least since 2011. My take on this is that Christmas Season is the most important for many advertisers so they save their promotion budgets for this period and bid high. And then January comes when no one is expecting much sales anyway, so they just do not pay for ads that much. But do not worry too much. Easter is coming.
