Hi everyone.
I am Zbyszek (Zbych in short) from Poland. I work as application developer (.NET applications mostly) in small company, but in my free time I write apps and games for Android. I am interested in 3D graphics that’s why most of my apps are wallpapers and games with 3D graphics
It looks like I can find here some advices and answers for my questions about monetizing apps.

Hello,

Wonny Lee from NYC. I’ve been a mobile monetization specialist and marketer for the past 5 years. Recently starting a new monetization company called mobiMicro that allows developers to sell products directly inside your app.

I’ve got a deep knowledge of maximizing revenue through game mechanics, ad networks, and user acquisition. I hope this forum can utilize my experience as I’m more than happy to help anyone succeed.

Best,
Wonny

Hi, My name is Kimbert Bartiquel from Philippines

I am 22 years old, and currently working as a vb.net programmer on a Mining Company for 1 year and a half, I’ve been making some java desktop applications for the last few years and on during my college, My curiosity on Android Programming was started when I got my First android phone (Sony Xperia neo L) last July this year, starting then I have studied android development and publish some apps for testing and luckily I found a new source of income on android developing and now i am considering as my sideline Job (On my Free time -saturdays and sundays), happy to say my income on Android Developing was greater than the income of my current Job now, so in short I am 2 months old on android developing  In this two months I already made 25 apps! Currently I owned Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

I came here to get more ideas to this wonderful world of android!

How did you make 25 apps in 2 months - or are they mostly iterations of the same model (or wallpaper type apps) etc. ?

Thanks.

Hello’
My Name is Murari. I am new user on thos site.

greetings every one,
you can call me days (so many reference, but mine is the 4th ending of one of my favourite anime, hikaru no go :)), because my real name is not common and hard to pronounce.
I’m a 4 years experienced android developer from france, and I pledge myself to earn 2000$ until 7th february 2014, and this condition will have hard consequences if not fulfilled. (thanks to this, my motivation is at a level I didn’t expected)
I published one video app this week that made me only one download :(.
I’m here to learn how to be successful in android, with no start capital.

I bought some courses like
AppStoreFlipping | Just another WordPress site
you can find some comments here
[App Store Flipper]I made Close to $7,000 In JUST 20 Days With This SIMPLE Flipping Technique!

The guy teach you to show copyrighted content from youtube in an app. The sort of thing which get you banned, so I don’t recommend you to do the same.

or this
Build Your Own Android? Empire With No Programming Skills
this is worse, the course only shows you coding (hard way), with no marketing lesson.

I don’t know how to start, and how to be successful with no money :(, so that’s why I’m here

hello all my name is kumpay from Bogor indonesia nice to meet you

Hello !
I’m Zumzum, from France.
I have been learning Android for a few months now, as an everning hobby since I have a day-time job (developer too, but not for Android :(). I have released a few minor apps for now, still waiting for a really great idea - that I am able to implement.
I have learned a lot about Android apps and ads on these forums !

DroidStunter here from Tampa, Florida…I’ve been working in the technology field for more than 10 years, but I’ve been immersed in computer science since I was a child. After college and about 13 months of MCSE training, I started out as a network engineer/network security consultant for a technology consulting firm and it was a great experience, but I quickly learned that writing software once and selling it more than once is a lot better than having to physically be on a job site until midnight everyday dealing with business owners freaking out because their network is down and everyone is waiting for you to fix it. I started out coding custom PHP/MySql web applications, and as I started figuring out the methodology of software development I decided to attempt an android app for a client about 2 years ago. It turned out great, so I decided to start developing apps for myself full time and it was by far the best business decision I’ve ever made. I also traveled all over the country performing motorcycle stunt shows and competitions professionally on the weekends for about 5 years (which my boss hated), so I’m not exactly your average computer nerd. I was also on full music scholarship in college for percussion where we traveled around on cruise ships with a show choir and jazz band as the on-board entertainment, so David and I actually have something in common with piano. I was a long time follower of this forum before I decided to join, and the developer community here has proven to be a wealth of vital information if you’re willing to look. I’m now focused 100% on game development, and I’m looking forward to the future of mobile in general.
