Hi George, welcome to the forum. Can you describe what our end-user has to do to redeem the reward?

good question and what kind of rewards do you have besides the ones listed on your website: unilever, starbucks, sprite, nivea, loreal and uber, this may be ideal for apps with a large female audience

Hi guys,

Thanks for your questions.

Can you describe what our end-user has to do to redeem the reward?

When the user enters his/her email in the app we send them an email with the instructions on how to redeem it.
Currently, there are two main categories of redemption methods:

  1. Offline rewards (things like free coffee sample or a bottle of ice tea): In the email with the redemption instructions the user can find a barcode or a coupon code which they can present to the store to redeem their reward.
  2. Online rewards (things like Amazon vouchers etc): In the email the user can find a redemption code which they can apply at the checkout page of the advertiser’s website. The link to the website is included in the email.

Keep in mind that the user is never redirected from the app. We just send them an email and they can check it out later.

That’s a great question. The campaigns/brands mentioned in our website are some of our high profile ones and some of them appeal to male audiences too. We also run campaigns that appeal to a wider demographic such as Sports Direct, Ralph Lauren, LA Fitness and every week we have new campaigns coming in from different brands.

It’s important to note here that we want to ensure the end-user will receive something relevant so we target the campaigns based on the app attributes such as category and demographic.

If you guys have more questions please do not hesitate to ask here or reach out to me at [email protected]

Are the offers worlwide?
What kind of offers are gonna be shown to our users? Since you can’t choose from the panel, random?

Hi @dynamitedev.

Are the offers worlwide?

We have many different reward campaigns and at the moment we have large coverage for the US and the UK. Keep in mind that Avocarrot can be used on top of what other monetization methods you use so this is extra revenue in these regions.

What kind of offers are gonna be shown to our users? Since you can’t choose from the panel, random?

Rewards are not served randomly because we want to ensure that the end-user will receive relevant rewards. When we serve a reward we take into account parameters like the app category and demographic. Also, it’s up to you to send us more info in the object you send to our server when you create a new story.

So if a user from india or portugal (examples) download our app you will basically wont show the ad? or you will show it and pay less? or how?

If a user comes from a region that we do not currently run a campaign in then nothing will be shown to the user. As a side note, we have a dedicated team working to expand our campaigns coverage and soon we expect to be able to monetize more regions.

@giorgosera, once you can some 5-6 campaigns for India, do let me know here or via PM.
Also pls. clarify:
Do you pay based on the number of impressions of the campaign shown or only when some user provides his email id to you?

@javaexp I’ll let you know when we have campaigns in India.

Do you pay based on the number of impressions of the campaign shown or only when some user provides his email id to you?

We pay per engagement and we define as engagement the moment when the user enters their email.

Note: We respect the user’s privacy so the email is NEVER shared with anyone else.
