Startapp Return Ad Versus App Launch Ad

Hi,
Startapp recently introduced a new Return Ad which is enabled by default.
This Return Ad is earning pennies for me.
I would like to know if i were to disable the Return Ad and show an interstitial ad at app launch,
will it earn me more revenue?
Because i saw a few postings saying that App Launch Ad has doubled their revenue.
But this is not the case for me using Return Ad.

If you’re unhappy with your Return Ad earnings, I would definitely encourage you to try another ad strategy.

In this case, it could really depend on app usage. If your app has a high usage (a user opens it multiple times per day), then I would suggest sticking with the Return Ad so that the user won’t become annoyed by an ad every time they open the app. But, if your app has a lower usage (user opens it once per day/week) I would suggest trying to use interstitial ads when the app launches. Because the user isn’t entering your app so frequently, they won’t be annoyed by seeing an ad every time they launch the app.
