Did anybody notice that startapp starts requiring to accept eula before displaying ads?
Eula window with “OK” button is shown instead of interstitial ad. Check screenshot in attachments.
I don’t remembar Startapp to inform us that eula need to be accepted. NO information on their web page, nor in sdk documentation.
Startapp Sdk 2.4.8.
Try to clean data and cache of app, reset your Google Advertisement ID. Then try to display interstitial ad again.
Eula box doesn’t show always. I had to repeat above procedure 3 times till I get eula accept box.
Startapp? What is going on. You have started to mess thing us:
First not-compliant sdk 2.4.7,
nowadays I see a lot of interstitial ads, where you need to wait few seconds to “close” button to be appeared (is it compliant with GP policy?).
some of ads have so small close button, that it is sometimes impossible to close it.
Maybe the new startapp logo and graphics design are not the only changes in your company? Does company have new owner?
For now I must say the better choice is MobileCore - more stable sdks, clear/nice looking ad with working close button. Ecpm the same as in startapp.
That is not an issue. There is only Startapp 2.4.8 lib. Project was cleaned.
In PPD SDK eula was shown at begging, here we have situation where eula is shown instead of interstitial.
I apologize for my delayed response with regards to this thread.
The privacy information that popped up during your interstitial ads can be accessed by clicking on the small ‘i’ in the lower lefthand corner of the ad, and then clicking on the ‘i’ a second time when that menu expands. This will leads users to the screen you show above, which simply explains our privacy policy. They do not need to opt-in to anything or accept any terms like they would with a eula. Could it be that you accessed the screen by accident?
As for the other interstitial ads with the missing ‘close’ buttons or very small close button, I’d ask you to please take some screenshots of any that you come across and send them over to the support team ([email protected]) voicing your concerns. Sometimes, ads will slip through our review process that may not be the best for the user. However, we encourage all devs to notify us when this happens and we will work quickly to remove it from our systems.
If you are still having issues with the privacy policy screen popping up when it is not called, email our support team and they will be able to look deeper into the issue.
