Hi guys,
In app purchases don’t work in my country, so I was wondering if I could lock certain items, which are unlockable if the user completes a video ad (much like what subway surfers is doing with keys). Does anyone know if Google allows this?

Supercell do this, well kind of… You watch a video, you get a diamond. I believe they use Vungle for it aswell…
If a company as large as Supercell are allowed to do it, I guess it’s allowed. A company that large will be in regular contact with google/apple especially if there’s an up and coming policy change.
But there is another way to unlock the Content in case of super cell. Whether it is paying or some sort of way.
The person asking will have the content locked and can be only unlocked by video. I think that’s incentivized
Or you could just something like Tapjoy offerwall
Hello @igooner, you can do this implementation and be aligned with Google policies if you do not force a user to do a task but just give him the option. At Pollfish we have a lot of developers that follow this approach. Each completed Pollfish basic survey delivers minimum $0.30 to the publisher resulting to high revenue!
I saw your site, u pays in euro, so where is polfish company? In EU? From what country money is sending? Wire transfers possible? I need this info because haven’t VAT-EU, so if money is sending from EU and company is in EU, then I cannot use polfish
Hello @ramzixp, Pollfish is incorporated in EU and we are in the process for re-locating the company to US. Payments happen in euro for the moment. We hope soon to introduce other currencies too.
@ramzixp - why don’t you have VAT-EU? You can get one by sending one form (it’s basically your NIP number with PL added before, but you need to register it).
Unless you aren’t VAT registered - I suppose if you are dealing only with non-EU companies you might have high revenue without ever reaching VAT limits, right?
I don’t want to be VAT registered - additional paper work, limits, etc. I am working only with companies from USA, Israel and China so you don’t care vat and limits.
