Hello guys, I just want to know what are the consequences if I create a celebrity name in the app and the character app. Is it ok to do since they are a public figure? Is it against intellectual property rights? pls. clear me up guys, coz I see a lot of celebrity android apps in the gplay market.thanks.

You can do Celebrity apps. But with tryst.
.eg You cannot Name your app as - Justin Beiber News and Game
But you can name the same as - New Game - Justin Beiber Edition.
You also need to be careful with any pictures you use. Someone, somewhere owns the copyright. You need to check that the copyright owner allows commercial use of the image.

Well, yes you can create a celebrity or public figure app, but do name it very consciously like Game- Celebrity based or something similar like that !!
Do the same rules apply for a Lego platform game with Lego theme and bricks. Can you call this for instance “Platform game Lego edition”?
No, because Lego is a registered trademark, whereas celebrity names are not (usually).
Using a celebrity’s name is not (probably) actually illegal (I’m not too sure about that, it might vary from country to country), but against Google’s Ts and Cs (which you agreed to when you created your account.
Using a registered trademark is illegal as well as against Google’s rules. You can be sued for using it, but it does depend on rhe context and the class the trademark is registered against. Lego is registered against (amongst others) class 28, which is games and playthings. If you use Lego in a game (including its description) you will be breaking the law.
