Delay with Publishing

Ever posted yours hypocrite? Nah didn’t think so.

I wish for once you would not derail a thread completely Brolly.

Enquired with my friend and he told me that he hasn’t bought any fake ratings.
So I myself reported it to google support to get it removed.

By the way the application is listing in when searched with “photoeffects” which was not the case till yesterday. May be due to the fake likes.

Good to hear.

billyh first post your apps and show us that u r not a spammer

The thing is, you can’t throw a stone and expect people won’t call you out…
If you can’t deliver, don’t speak…

oooo spammers in full force

Please just stop Brolly.

As outlined here:
http://forums.makingmoneywithandroid.com/advertising-networks/3195-10-apps-banned-because-pingjam-10.html#post26261

I am beginning to think honest discussion is not the mandate under which he operates on this board.

app in search results! after 10-15 hours :expressionless: but in dark ass on the end of results :expressionless:

also google isn’t banning due to SDK…Infact I put up brand new apps that have never ever seen the market…without ANY ad network…clean apps…legitimate ones too…no scam or spam…no copyright.all following guidelines 200%…deleted within 24 hours…no reason…typical google…just proves that google has no logic or cares about developers.

infact this proves google would like crap apps vs ones that actually work.

Anyone who feels the need to prove to me that google wants more legit apps vs spam ones…i dare you to prove me wrong…not trying to brag but my apps are better then most of everyones on this forum and they work…no ads…no nothing…still deleted…like i said…google would rather horse shit on the market then real apps that add value…and i know this because they left all my shitty useless apps that do nothing but spam the user but delete the new apps without ANY ads? LOL WUT?

Didn’t realize that google liked spam so much

I’ll prove my theory right…today I’ll upload 3 of the most spammy crap apps I can make…they won’t work…they’ll be useless…do nothing but spam the user with ads…and ill upload 3 of my most legitimate working apps without ANY ads…No SDK or anything…and watch…the 3 spam ones WILL stay up while the 3 without ANY ads get taken down…I’ll report back in a few days with the results - even though i already know the result

How do we know you won’t just make up numbers? If you want to challenge, do it openly.

numbers? theres no numbers involved…it’s just proving that google likes spam junk apps vs working ones…trust me man im like you…i see NO value in junk crap apps…im more about creating something of value and that isn’t crap…but when google deletes my stuff that adds value and leaves the crap…what the hell do you call that? thats a joke that’s what it is..why would a dev put effort into making real apps if googles just going to delete them but leave your junk ones that dont work? im not doing anything shady or copying anyones stuff with my working new apps too

Google are leaving too much to automation. Bottom line is they just don’t care.
They know the big companies will still use Google Play no matter what and they don’t need to bend over to help anyone to keep making all that money.
We are all at the hands of a corporation, and corporations like to make a lot of money.

Maybe this a bug/tuning issue with their algorithms (for automated screening or something they are testing out). And problem may go away in 2-3 weeks ?

Or maybe related to uploading more often than one new app every few days or something ?

I agree 100% with the “too much automation” statement . 2 weeks ago i had a perfectly legal clean app with pictures of some adorable dogs and cats, all from public domain, no copyright. Google banned the app for " sexually explicit content " - hahhaha- WHAT??? Nobody there even opened the app to see that there is nothing even remotely sexual :)if a dog playing with his toy is “Sexual” then OK. i guess somebody reported it a few times and bam- the hammer dropped. 4 e-mails to the “support” team and not a word back. all they have to do is open the app and play it for 30 seconds, but hey - that’s an operation only a real human can perform and we all know google doesn’t use humans much ( except probably “billyh” who is here to troll and scare all the new guys ). all i’m saying is google is making like 5 billion a month - they can easily afford 2-3 guys to check/ verify all those bans and maybe communicate with the developers.
Here is another idea - - make the appeal process paid , i will gladly pay a small fee for my app to get reinstated. If you have a shitty app - no sense to appeal but if it’s all good and legal like my app in question or affliatex apps above - why not.

exactly…id glad pay too…cause when your paying thousands to get real working apps made…its retarded why it isn’t “Allowed” on the market but yet some crappy porn XXX app is allowed and it gets 5M installs

you know it’s funny i was searching Google (the website, not the play store) and this app is on page 1 for many keywords
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.strip.girl
( sorry if it belongs to a memeber here, PM me and i will delete the link ASAP if it’s a problem, i’m using it for illustration only, no harm intended)
it’s 100% crappy app- even the video is shit - yet - page 1 in google , #1 in play store for many keywords and over 1 mil installs. crazy. maybe i should steal a semi good video from YT and make an app out it it? Not that it’s wrong to have an app like this - good for the developer who made it and is banking now - but google should not rank it that high. many apps that are 1000 times better ,lets say “strip poker”-type and actually have some value and some functionality (not just 2 min of YT video) are ranking below.
As you said - seems like Google do loves crappy apps

Google developers are probably spending more working hours on those algorithms than real human workers would spend moderating the store. And such moderators usually get paid less than developers so it would be a win-win for Google.

Absolutely true! if only we can get our message over to Google… oh wait, nobody is checking those e-mail…catch 22
