Yeah, I just saw that news. Glad to see ASUS are committed to prompt ROM updates, and also allowing the developer community access to unlocking tools. I can appreciate the locked bootloader from a security perspective, as long as the company allows a way to circumvent it for users who wish to do so.
Thanks to Pete over at elusive stars, I actually won a Transformer Prime in the launch competition. So no need to procrastinate anymore 
I’m pretty excited about it, look forward to seeing it turn up in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully it will make a good study aid - more productive than the iPad with an integrated keyboard & access to all my Android apps. Plus, I think GTA III will run great on this thing
