When publishing an app, does it matter much if you put the Application type as Games or an Application? I always listed under applications, but i just looked at Games and saw a category there that I could use to. Does it matter much as far as downloads and rankings which ones you use?
Yes, it matters the most ! It is like I am having a website in listed under social media category and have changed its category to science. Means half of the visitors cuts down just by having a thought its may be a site dedicated to science not of my use 
Promo87, have you noticed it effects your downloads? When I do a search on Google Play, the results lists applications and games, so I don’t know how picking one application type over the other matters?
