App Suspended

REASON FOR REMOVAL: Violation of the intellectual property and impersonation or deceptive behavior provisions of the Content Policy. Please refer to the IP infringement and impersonation policy help article for more information.

All violations are tracked. Serious or repeated violations of any nature will result in the termination of your developer account, and investigation and possible termination of related Google accounts. If your account is terminated, payments will cease and Google may recover the proceeds of any past sales and the cost of any associated fees (such as chargebacks and payment transaction fees) from you.

If your developer account is still in good standing, you may revise and upload a policy compliant version of your application as a new package name. Before uploading any new applications, please review the Developer Distribution Agreement and Content Policy.

If you feel we have made this determination in error, you can visit the Google Play Help Center article for additional information regarding this removal.

I uploaded a new app and within 1 hour my app got suspended. It was for downloading MP3 audio files. Yet I was not hosting any of them, they were just links to other sites that hosted them. No different than Googles own search engine. If my app gets suspended, how is it that gtunes gets to stay up. They are pretty much the same thing. I even had a DMCA processed people could use to get links removed if they are in fact infringing.

Seems a bit fast for being suspended … would guess some automatic check hit in.

Hmmm… what could I say !! that’s just very much fast enough … just a blink of an hour an account gets suspended. Why don’t you ask google for reconsideration try contacting then manually seeking help regarding this and explain then about the DMCA protected thing or …

Luckily they kept my account intact, only suspended the app. I rebranded it and reuploaded it under a different name, and it has been up for 2 days now without issues.
