I use Admob banner and interstitial, chartboost interstitial, Startapp interstitial, and Startapp Exit ads by “Back” and “Home” button , Startapp searchbox . Which is the problem ? I’m really confused.

Also i get a “7 day Notification” with another app , in this , i use Startapp Banner, chartboost interstitial, Startapp interstitial, and Startapp Exit ads by “Back” and “Home” button , Startapp searchbox .

It seems caused by Startapp. But which is the really problem ?

" Startapp Exit ads by “Back” and “Home” button" You don’t should use it .

The Violation of the Ad-Policy:
Ads associated with your app must not interfere with other apps or their ads.

How does Exit ads interfere with other apps or their ads ?

To be safe , Maybe i need to remove all Exit ads and also the Startapp searchbox .

The issue is not Startapp Exit ads but Admob. When you use Admob they want you to exclusively use admob for banners and interstitial. This is their way of warning you since they believe by using startapp ads you are hampering their banner and interstitial business.

Also startapp slider search will be sliding over the banners which I am sure they dont like. However, their exit ads should be OK in my opinion.

There is always a “coded” message in google’s email. Read it properly.

I also have a game without admob received this 7 day notification. I use Startapp Banner, chartboost interstitial, Startapp interstitial, and Startapp Exit ads, Startapp searchbox in this game.

So we can exclude Admob.

The issue must be one or all of these:
Startapp Exit ads by “Back”
Startapp Exit ads by “Home” button
Startapp searchbox

I also have a game with only admob banner, chartboost interstitial and Startapp interstitial, and they didn’t receive any issue.

just drop startapp already and stop making same threads

I use startapp and no issues yet. But i Don’t use the search box. I think it is the search box. I can’t remember if I use the exit add on “home” but for sure on the “back”

Thanks for your infor. The Search box with home page must be the issue .

Maybe its the combination admob- startapp search box? In fact, if you extend the searchbox, it will overlap with the admob banners. Might that be the issue?

I’ve also received this 7 days notification from Google. I’m using StartApp (Banners, Search Box and Exist Ads on Back and Home pressed) and RevMob (Banners and FullScreen).

Hey All,

Not sure if you had a chance to read the post on the original thread about this, here it is -http://forums.makingmoneywithandroid.com/advertising-networks/3538-app-violating-ad-policy-ads-interfere-other-ads-app-4.html

From all that we have checked, it is the Post Call Manager. And in all cases, that SDK was integrated in the app, but not called. So Google are checking for the existence of that SDK, regardless on whether it is active or not.

Best thing to do right now is email our support ([email protected]) or open a ticket in your dashboard. Send them the manifest and apk and they will look into this.

There are still a few days where we can resolve this, so let’s work together to make sure everyone is still running by the weekend.

Ariel.

Does the in app sdk (the one with banners and search box) have any post call manager code in it?
