When I got my new GTI I got 3 Visa gift cards at $500 each plus the winter package (rubber mats and rubber cargo liner) thrown in for free and 40% off tint and PPF. This was easy to get since all this items don’t come off car price. The Visa gift card was a promotion they had for new car purchases so I asked for 3. For tinting I was going to get it anyways from a private tint company and told them as such they gave me the 40% off if I buy tinting off them. But the real point that’s important distance from Seattle to Vancouver 30000 euros to dollars is I had 3 cars in mind and was very serious about all of them. I made my above offer and said if they accept I’ll take the car right now and forgo the other vehicles (was looking at a Mazda 3 gt which has amazing interior and a subrau). Love the GTI though and happy with the purchase. Of course this isn’t getting price reduction but it was getting great additions for free which I was going to get anyways…the gift cards were nice too!
