How much is your CPM of airpush smartwall ads?

My cpm is $0.1~1.5,I think it’s abnormal because the cpm of smartwall ads
is $10+ according to airpush saying.
How much is your CPM of airpush smartwall ads?

It’s called false advertising. Airpush is the worst network out there: they serve porn ads, mimic notification alerts, creating clones to promote their network, lying about sdk changes and so on and so on. Only Revmob can compete with them in false advertising.

Yeah, it’s one of the worst networks out there, beware if you don’t want to get your google developer account banned.

I get $5 - $10 eCPM with Airpush SmartWall, and was a bit higher at one point. If you’re getting such a low eCPM, I bet that either your traffic is coming from wierd countries or you have installed it wrong. Also, if I were you I would call the SmartWall (airpush.startSmartWallad or something) rather than calling AppWall or another subformat within SmartWall.

Hi,
I’m getting 1,15$ CPM for the last 7 days. This is too far from the CPM advertised… and I have everything installed correctly.

I will switch to Tapjoy or Appbrain this week.

Lovexia,

Please PM me your account information and I will look into it to see if we can determine reason for your lowered CPM.

@byivan please let me how it goes with Tapjoy and AppBrain… I have tried both of those in the past and was unsatisfied, but networks are always changing so I’d love to hear how they’re performing these days.

Bojan,

We have strict guidelines for our ad content, we do not have allow any sort porn ads and we also do not mimic notification alerts as this is not allowed by Google’s new TOS. Please send me a screen shot if you have seen these types of ads from Airpush.

Thanks

I have been hovering around $5 CPM with Airpush smartwall but It was higher last month.

Ok.

You claim that Airpush removed “New message” title on 07. 10. 2012.

Source: http://www.mobiadage.com/

Screenshots are taken on 13. 10. 2012.

We also see adult ad on this screenshot.

Now, answer on my question. Simple one.

Why you lying?

Hi Bojan,

I appreciate your concern on this.
We take pride in the quality of our network and as stated before, made the change to how our system displays ads with no content as soon as we were aware that there was any chance of it being confused with a system message. However, just like any large system, the changes took several days to take effect so that is the reason for the 3 day delay your image shows. Rest assured that this issue is completely resolved.
And regarding your other concern, the ad displayed is for a wallpaper app and has no adult content whatsoever. Feel free to send me a private message if you have other concerns.
Thanks!

Phil from Airpush

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the feedback.

Lets see what is “wrong” with your answers, and maybe you can clarify them further:

1 - It takes 3 days ← this is fine, but your reply on this forum was on the 7th, and the blog entry was on the 13th, and an ad again appeared on the 14th. That is surely more than 3 days. It may be completely resolved now, but at that time it was very risky for developers.

Does Airpush have trouble with simple maths? The advertised eCPMs (and days calculations) look wrong everywhere.

2 - The ad is for a wallpaper app ← This is super misleading. The ad title in the screenshot says “Stolen FREE model video!”… I am quite certain videos are not wallpapers. There is no QA or checks on ads before they are released out?

3 - send you private message ← why? lets be transparent here. Hope Bojan did not send any private message, and would instead reply here.

Awaiting your response.

There was days when airpush spamed my users  Mostly all days are ok but sometimes is error or what when I got 21 push ads in one day! Come on airpush and not paid for it?

I did not, I want to make open discussion and to solve all unanswered questions with this ad network.

I will extend your list.

Airpush passing phone numbers and personal data to advertiser based on Airpush EULA?

Please be short.

  1. Yes, we forward number and/or email and other data to advertiser!
  2. No, we do not forward number and/or email and other data to advertiser!

If you do not do that then why there is that malicious statement in EULA?

Hi Bojan,

The short answer to your question is #2:

  1. No, we do not forward number and/or email and other data to outside advertisers!

The reason for any language regarding passing data to an advertiser in our EULA is to enable our SuperCharge product which saves mobile users time by filling out mobile forms so that they don’t have to do it manually on their devices. This is only done after someone accepts that they would like the offer and we have received great feedback on this from both users and developers around the world.

Thanks
Phil from Airpush

@Bojan have you ever seen Google’s “newsletter ads” product – they do the exact same thing as Airpush “supercharge” product ie; populating the user’s email address on the landing page for convenience. There are TONS of other products which do this as well, including Facebook, Pontiflex, and many more. The key is ensuring there is clear disclosure for the user.

You act like this is something new which Airpush started…ridiculous.

Phil… selective answering? No answers for my questions?

It is typical of all ad network folks I have worked with… when asked questions, they choose to ignore it… or give really stupid answers… I dont know which one is worse…

I asked about india cpm and fill rate, also PW and ticket. Ingored  in ticket reply I got:

"Thanks for your patience. As per the response from our concerned team, we provide 90% and above fill rate in india however the ECPM depends upon the advertisers bidding for the campaigns on the day.

We are trying our best to provide the best ECPM for India and other Asian countries in coming future. We appreciate your continuous support towards us."

And where is my data? 90% fill rate? Ok, but no any information about ecpm :expressionless:
