Samsung Galaxy Accelerometer

Does the Samsung Galaxy series of phones like Note and S3,S4 not have working accelerometer?

Like does it have a sensor at all that can be used.

I have this app which is totally dependent on the phones sensors to work. But i get complaint and most installs from Samsung Galaxy users.

Heres the app:

I would appreciate it if people who have samsung galaxy x phone tested this free app and let me know if it indeed does not work.

To test:
install the app.
click start on the main screen.
Press the TARE button
then tilt the phone (bring the top end up) and see if the reading on the screen(numbers) change (or not…)

Thanks in advance

Tested with:

Samsung S2 4.0.4, works when tilted
Samsung S3 4.3, works when tilted
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 10.1, 4.0.3, cannot install app, filtered out on market

Tested on my S3 i9300, numbers changed when tilted.

thanks guys!

to those two guys who tested it. as a thanks (if youre interested) you can have a free pro version. il pm you direct link just for you. Just PM me.

Also.

if it works on those samsung phones i really dont understand why i get so many samsung users saying it doesnt work on their phones, this is backed up by the number of uninstalls by samsung users. BUT then again it is prob one of the most popular phones so that could explain it too. Maybe these guys are just lying to give bad ratings, or cant use their phones properly.
