Has anyone used AppSealing? on their games?
A few months ago, I was attending the Game Developers Conference when I ran into a company claiming that they have a security solution developed specifically for Android Games. Got a few free coupons from them to try for free. Still waiting to complete developing my game before trying it out, but wanted to know if anyone has tried it yet. It’s cloud based, and supposedly takes less than an hour for the whole process.
They claim quite a bit. Got a spam mail from them after GDC stating they protect the following:
•File Integrity Check
o Protects modulation by scanning all the files inside the APK
o Protects SO (C/C++), Google LVL, Ad module (.dex)
•Memory Integrity Check
o Real-time scanning when tag protected game code loaded
•Anti-Debugging
o Protection from debugging tools like GDB
•Anti-Dump
o Protection from code analysis through memory dump
•Anti-Memory Cheat
o Detects data scan in memory
•APK Decompile Protection
o Check whether APK has been decompiled, preventing redistribution
•Code Analysis Protection
o Protects from using reversing tools like IDA, HEX Editor…etc
Anyone try it yet? Would love to hear your comments before trying it out.
CHEERS.
