Massive fall in Admob impressions...

Since September 24th I have experienced a fall of over 50% from interstitial ad impressions for my app. The user numbers have remained steady throughout. Unbelievably, the number of ad requests has not moved, but still a 50% fall in impressions. I have not made any changes to the APK during this time. Has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve also noticed that revenue and ad clicks is quite steady with a big surge in CTR %age as the impressions go down, which indicates to me that this is a bug with impressions not being counted? Still a bit of a worry…

Ofcourse its happening to everyone on Android (Most likely since recent Play Services update).

You might want to post your stats there since admob as usual denies that anything changed.

I have noticed impressions temporarily go up, then disappear. Not between days, but it literally saying there were impressions then saying there weren’t. Either it must be a bug or they have changed what an impression means (perhaps if its closed fast enough it isn’t counted?)

same here , last week i was getting 75$ per day but now decreased to 45$

I must tell you people that there is issue when we load admob banners and Interstitial together in one App in Google play services.

Either of them is completely ok. But when we load both of them,chances of loading Interstitial are less compare to old admob SDK.
It is completly logicless,but this is how i experimented with Google play services. Might be thats the reason that number of requests are same,but ads are not loaded and impressions are low.

same issue here. I think this is a stats bug because revenue and traffic stayed the same for me.

same to me it is about 15% down I dont know why . but at list it is good to know the problem is related to me/my apps.

Indeed - I have noticed same issue with my apps… Maybe there is something wrong when displaying this at same time…
