Sudden Significant Drop of Admob Impression in a Few Days

The fill rate is good actually, around 90%. Still I find it pretty weird to have such a significant decrease in such a short period of time. I have asked google play developer support and he said that it is probably related to the change in google play search algorithm and top/featured apps. Well I don’t find that comforting as that means that it is not a glitch and my apps can suddenly fall more than 40% in terms of daily impression and download rate in a few days in the future with I cannot do anything about it. I cannot argue that reason though

My guess is you are only using admob. You could do better implementing several ad networks. The easiest way to do this is using mediation. That way if admob is not working good, you will have other options. Check out: Appodeal, Vungle, IronSource.

Maybe, the reason is the beginning of the year? I have 0.60$ eCPM comparing to December’s 1.1$. But it is rising, in January I had 0.48$.

eCPM is always lower in beginning of the year. 0.48 is good for January.
