It’s too difficult now with making money with Android. AdMob still has some problem, and even ban you whenever they want. If you use other ad networks, you may get banned from Google Play because of policy violation (InMobi has banner ads like “Your phone has a virus”, AppBrain downloads APKs that are not from Google Play, AirPush is flagged as an intrusive adware by antivirus…).
I will focus on iOS and Windows Phone after making my Android apps Google Play compliant.
