Fight the Flu! was the first game I created. It had a great start but unfortunately, there were some performance and control issues that caused it to get a lot of 1* reviews. However, while working on my current project, I have discovered some new tricks and improved my development skills and I decided to go back and give Fight the Flu a much needed tune up. The end result is a game that performs MUCH smoother (even on weaker hardware), controls better (due to a new joystick system) and looks better (different compression technique on light-maps and new cell shaded graphics).
Fight the Flu is a simple arena style FPS. As the name suggest, your main goal in the game is to fight the Flu Virus and other enemies that make you sick. Your main weapon is an arm cannon (sort of like Metroid) powered by Vitamin-C. There are 8 arenas and 3 game modes. The most popular game mode is survival which has you simply killing as many monsters as you can without getting killed. Don’t let the bright colors and semi-educational theme fool you. This game can get very challenging.
Overall its a pretty good game and I think it deserves a second chance. All of the bad reviews are from older versions of the game which had control glitches and performance issues (the game only performed well when playing on flagship devices). As stated above, those issues are now fixed. Please help me get the average star rating back up by leaving a good review and I will do the same for your app.
