A list of Facebook groups you can use for selling/buying domain names & websites. Some of these groups do a poor job of moderation or approving new members. Some groups are only for domain name discussion so doesn’t post domain / websites for sale there. I find these groups are best for getting initial bids on auction sites (Flippa, Freemarket, Sedo, GoDaddyAuctions, etc…). In domain auction sites, getting those initial bids get you noticed so $1 start prices will increase your chances of getting bids & hopefully a larger sale. Note - you can use reserve prices on your auctions to protect yourself. I have had a 4-figure offer on one domain a while back in a group so you can get some serious buyer interest on occasion but personally I don’t post non-auction domain names in groups any longer. I’ve found posting the list of groups I utilize in a WORD file for a quick click to the groups to post is the most time-efficient by the way. Daily bumps will likely get you booted from groups so I generally will just post the domains I’m auctioning (with links) & then do a bump on the last day of the auction.
I also recommend using dnforum.com & namepros.com to promote domain names for sale or for purchasing domain names. In those forums & facebook groups, you can snag a good name cheap because sometimes buyers let good names sell for a low price - I’ve been on both sides of that coin. However - 98%+ of the domain names I see for sale are “not too good” IMO.
