I am confused whether app stores other than google play or amazon are worth the trouble of publishing apps and maintaining them. Let’s assume I publish to 10 other app stores. For every version update of each app I have to update on google play and amzon and then 10 other app stores. The traffic from those stores would be obviously less than google play and amazon. I can put those time and effort in developing new apps rather than maintaing irrelevant stores. So, does any of you had a good experience with publishing on other app stores.
You can just upload your apk to all of the stores and never maintain any of them except for Google Play’s version. The other stores can give some good downloads.
you can try some of the biggest appstores: getjar, slideme, appszoom. They are giving some decent results and I think that they worth your time.
