    @mind I'd restructure the game with levels, items, and/or coins. I think you need to add an RPG element to make people want to buy.

    d) If you don't think it will ruin gameplay, perhaps you could HIGHLIGHT vowels on all puzzels for a 1 time purchase of $1.99. I know I always am using the vowels as pivot point in the game to start a word.

    These are just some ideas I had! Congrats on the awesome game!
    I think pwndroid's point c. would make a good iap. Because of the competitive nature of the app, and the fact that people like to see their names on the leaderboards, you can make money by letting them have a custom icon or slogan. I know you already let them have a slogan in Anagram Hero, but I din't think its to late to charge for it. I would let the users who have already set their's keep it for free, though. It's not a consumable, but could generate some good revenue I think.

    As an FYI, total income on WordHero has been about $0.17 per installed user, monetized purely with banner adverts. HOWEVER, more than 50% of the income was from a fixed price eCPM contract.

    It believe it won't be very useful, unless I want to change over to use their achievements. It would be more interesting if they added an in-game currency that was universal across all games.

    I was under the impression they have a service now for matchmaking and sending messages/info to and from their server, etc. Just thought I'd mention it!

    Sure, but that is not how [WordHero] works. That is sort of a peer-to-peer. WordHero needs a central server (or servers!) to sum the leaderboards/etc, maintain statistics/etc

    What you are making is quite low for an app that popular. Consider ad fatigue.. ie. the user keeps seeing the same damned ad over and over again. IMO, if they didn't click/install the first 5 times, chances are that 50 more impressions wont seal the deal.
    I suggest using as many ad networks as you practically can and use mopub to stagger/interveave ads from differect networks.

    Since you are using Mopub, you can use leadbolt and lifestreet as a custom network (no sdk required). I have two different tiers for each network because my goal is to show as many different ads as possible.
