ad network companies help

Hey devs,

We are an app Development Company, making around 10 New Apps Per Week.

Our total downloads grows daily is currently around 30,000 new downloads each day.

Across these current apps our ad network shows around 2 million ad impressions everyday, however the mobile ad network companies we have tried, mmedia/admob/inmobi seem to be the highest payers but with an average of ECPM 0.20 on good days

We are now trialing airpush on some of our apps and its already showing great ECPMs but we are worried about customer outcry and spam infringmnets from customers through google play on our accounts.

If any exp devs who are monitizing over $1k a week can give us some tips or ideas on this current predicament would be great.

thanks
james

James,

Most networks are doing low numbers right now. However, towards the end of every year (approaching) things generally pick up.

As far as the user being effected by the switch, the only thing that would create a significant displeasure would be throwing in an ad unit that might disrupt the current flow.

So if you are doing banners now, keep banners.
If you have interstitials pop up at the launch and every other level (for example), then keep that exact same pattern with the new network.
Most ad unit SDK’s allow that kind of control.

The last part is getting the user to update the app so that your new ad network can serve ads. This part can be tricky so make sure that you at least improve some feature of game/app so that there is more incentive to get the update.

You may also consider a network with a good mediation layer considering you have such a large volume of traffic.
Being able to send the unfilled traffic from one network to another can really increase revenue quickly as it monetizes every impression instead of trusting one network to fill all of it and letting the unfilled go to waste.

I hope this information helps!
