So what devices are we all running right now?

Would be interesting to see what we’re all using?
My main phone is a Googl Nexus 5 16GB and I previously had a Galaxy Nexus 4. Got a bunch of other phones for testing.
Gonna grab a Nexus 6 as soon as they’re up fro pre-order
In between tablets now.

I have way too many. Some of them just gather dust. I have pre-ordered Note 4 though to make it my main phone and am waiting for Android Player to appear on e-bay to buy it since I have some controller supported games released or in the works.

Right now I have:

  • Note 10.1 (excellent for note taking and fast for browsing despite it’s age, the cable breaks every year though slowing down transfers to a crawl making using it for testing a bit frustrating)
  • some very old Xperia phone (good for performance checks, but has some touchscreen issues)
  • Kindle Fire (two different versions, thanks to Amazon, they are nice but have way too large screen border, I mostly test on them right now, since they are between a phone and tablet in size and have nice high resolution screens)
  • some Asus Intel tablet (for testing x86 support) and some 4:3 cheap Lenovo tablet
  • iPad Mini (I hate it, I am just not compatible with Apple it seems)
  • Amazon Fire TV (great for XBMC although chokes on files encoded with the new h265)
  • OUYA (it’s crap)
  • some very, very old LG Android phone (for testing performance)
  • the cheapest Chinese tablet I could find (for testing performance, it is so cheap something moves inside when you shake it and unlocking it takes a minute)
  • Nokia Android phone (since I released some games on Nokia Store)
  • MacMini (yack!)
Some of those devices are used by my family members. Some gather dust. Some are used by me (mostly Note 10.1).
I also have two laptops (Clevo 233ST and 233SS, great small devices with excellent screens), one used for development and one in my music studio (for my most expensive hobby, composing music).

I also have Blackberry Playbook which I use as a desk watch because it is so useless.

Nexus 4 here which I bought last year because prices were slashed in anticipation of nexus 5. I m not a big fan boy of possessing latest hardware.

Samsung galaxy grand which I purchased for my wife and the phone worked not more than 5 months. Samsung is waste of money for me

1 Spice company cheap android phone costing $40

iPhone4S which is gathering dust as apple has done very good job with emulator and iOS emulator works very well for my testing

Nexus4 has this defect that power button becomes less responsive in 6 months. Many people complaining about it including me. Will sell this phone and buy nexus6

Motorola razr i - still using it every day. wonderful device. I wonder why the Intel Atom never found it’s way, it outperforms even the newer galaxy in some Tasks. Unfortuntely, Unity is not supporting it. sadly. still my best phone yet.

Have an older Asus Transformer for Tablet testing (but do not use it very often). some older phones are useless now because they Feature only android <= 2.3 so useless cause of new admob

I also ordered the Moto 360 and I am very curious about it already. Want to use it daily to see if this is useful and maybe get some ideas about apps for it.

How do u guys compare moto x 2014 with nexus6. Moto is cheaper with lower processor RAM battery etc. 5.9 inch size of nexus is too big isn’t it?

Will moto x also get latest updates from google just like nexus?

My main phone - iPhone 6 Plus. For development and testing - Moto G, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and HTC Desire 510

Right now I also use Fire TV as a media box (with XBMC/Kodi installed) and Note 4 as my main phone and note-taking device. I also have Nexus Player, but it doesn’t get much use - I have it for testing games released for it, but maybe I will move my XBMC/Kodi setup to it since it should be a bit faster than FireTV (which shows 90% CPU usage on some high quality videos).

I am using Note 4

I have only 1 old phone Samsung Galaxy S3 for my main use and 20 other phones(the cheapest available brand in my area) for dev and SMS server of my app…

Sonu-Exchange is charmed to advance particular online coin exchange advantages despite dispatching a not too bad and centered rates of exchange. http://goo.gl/ILJMp9

Currently i am using Sony Xperia z,previously i have used Samsung galaxy s3

I am using my cab apps ,which provide detailed infor and services to travellers.

I had htc desire and now my main phone is samsung galaxy s5 edge plus

Mine is samsung s6 edge just bought it 3 weeks ago. Now Still downloading a lot of apps on my phone.

Currently, mine is HTC One M9. First got started with iPhone 3GS. Replaced it with Samsung Galaxy S5 two years later.

I have asus zenfone 5 for i bought it at $200 and it has 2gb ram which is good for gaming. But the camera sucks only 8mp…

I just bought NVidia Shield TV - be aware that it has a bug that prevents XMLReader to work. Basically XMLReader hangs your app on it.

I’'m using zenfone 5 but i’m not satisfied with it because it’s only 8mp and i need more high pixels too. I’m planning to buy a new samsung s6 edge this year. Hopefully if i can earn some money this month.
