Well, there are a number of tools available over the store which can help you with recovering your contacts back ! Try downloading softwares like Coolmuster Android SMS+Contacts Recovery, Wondershare Dr. Fone for Android (Note: This software works only with rooted device), Android Data Recovery etc. You can use them to recover your messages and other data back over to your device.

If you don't have any backup, it is not easy. Why not try the recovery tools? They are still in your storage, but are invisible to us. Vibosoft DR. Mobile for Android is a good choice. Refer to this way to get back Android sms and steps to recover Android contacts

Guys, all of the tools I mentioned above can recover SMS as I have tested them personally. So, there's no reason to get onto confusion which one to try out but what you need to make sure is you should act fast over this because one something over it's written the possibility of getting the messages back will get decrease and decreased.

They're probably not lost. In Contacts, go to Menu and then tap Contacts To Display. Tinker in these setting and you'll figure out which list is the right one and which ones you want to see. You can see Google contacts, Phone contacts, SIM contacts, All contacts, and other accounts you have. While you're in there, make sure which accounts you have set to sync. And then restore contacts from Android phone. If not ,you can use Coolmuster Samsung Recovery software to restore lost contacts and sms from android.

Well, I don't think that there is any requirement to recover the contacts because its already stored over your gmail account what needs to be done is just put the same gmail account over the device and contacts will start appearing automatically. I was talking about acting fast with the SMSes because its not sync with google account rather than its stored over the device memory once the device memory is overwritten by something else you will not be able to recover your data back !

The first precaution to follow when you deleted some data accidentally is NOT to modify the existing data in the memory.
Do not delete or add any other data.
So first remove the SD card from the SD card and connect it to a PC.
Download and install Coolmuster Data Recovery for Samsung.
The software can retrieve deleted android smart phone contacts

Well that sure is some quite good points you have shared over here ! but there is some error which I think you should correct out i.e. SD Card from SD card which we couldn't understand. And about not modifying the deleted data accidentally I have already talked about it over the above post. It would be good if you can add some more tools over here which could help @OP out !
