ios ad blockers!

Some bad news for us developers:
Adblockers shoot up iOS 9 app charts on day one | Technology | The Guardian

To make it clear, it affects websites and not native apps.

are you sure about that? doesn’t it block all traffic from say, doubleclick, which in turn blocks a lot of trackers which don’t fire up the interstitials?

+1 - This is how I understand it too. Only effects mobile Safari etc.

Yes I’m sure. iOS apps are working on a sandbox, so isn’t possible to do things like that, unless the iPhone is with jailbreak… It does affect safari because of the latest changes in iOS 9.

It’s possible maybe to use something like a proxy with profiles, but as I read somewhere, average user wouldn’t know how to do that.
