Mostly Indonesian Traffic but they do accept bundle2/hummermobi, also appodeal apps thrive here as well

  1. Getjar - Still provides decent traffic - can take up to a month for apps to be approved, if apps get denied resubmit they usually go through with-in 3 tries.
    GetJar Developer Zone: Publishing

  2. Amazon - They still accepting Bundle2/Hummermobi apps, free apps do shit here but paid apps thrive here.

  3. 1Mobile - This is by far one of the best 3rd party appstores, they approve anything. Good app descriptions and good title is a must to succeed here.
    1mobile login | 1Mobile Market Developer Console

  4. Mobango - Still has potential but slow as snails approving apps, Published an app a week ago and went live today but i still have apps from 3 months ago still pending approval.

  5. Wandoiuja - Decent downloads here, approves bundle2 apps, makes you submit photo id with you holding it as proof of app ownership. Easy to signup and account gets approved instantly. Apps go live with-in 2 days.

  6. Mobiles24 - Slow traffic waste of time for apps, but if you do themes or lwps only publish maybe 2 or 3 apps a day.

  7. Aptoide - Decent if you publish copyrighted stuff

  8. Yandex App Store

  9. Samsung - Slow to approve, picky about ads especially airpush, any app with airpush they take down with-in 2 weeks even if app was approved. Paid apps thrive here, the guy selling “flip fonts” here is making huge bank roll and making it rain cash from the sky.

Below are dead stores and stores you shouldn’t waste your time on since they suck.

Mobogenie - No longer taking new apps, used to be a good store, USA Office went bankrupt which is the office that was running the dev console.
Androidfreeware.net - Low traffic
Nexva - aprroves bundle2/hummermobi but googluck getting downloads 50 apps published and only 1 download.
andapponline - no traffic, my website actually gets more traffic.

For Aptoide, there is a category called Certified Apps. I was using for 2 years without knowing it until one day I ask support for a separate issue.
Lucky the support say I should certify my apps instead. I go through that round and downloads becoming much more.

For andppaonline, it seems to cater to North America traffic. Canada for e.g

Yandex won’t work well without title/description translated to Russian.
Get Jar not approving apps since 3 months now. when i asked the support to review my apps, they asking for $50 for app promotion and then they will approve all pending apps.

Same thing happened to me as well…Presently using opera,mobango,1mobile and amazon ( very less downloads)

Make a new account with getjar and they start approving apps again, seems once you get to like 20 apps they want money so keep making new accounts. This works for me im up to like 20 new accounts now.

Opera will take you to google play to download the apps so if your app is not on google then you wont get any downloads.

thanks. submitted one app to new getjar account. will see how it goes
regarding amazon, can we have unlimited apps on single amazon account or need to create multiple amazon developer accounts like getjar. I mean u faced any issues in keeping 500+ apps in same amazon developer account?

What if user don’t have Google play not installed on their device…Like Nokia X devices they don’t come with Google play installed

Here’s a list of app stores, among other elements in the mobile industry. Look and learn:

when did apple start taking android apps?

According to Irene of Opera she claims people who dont have Google Play available or countries that dont have google play can download the apps directly from opera, but keep in mind hard to monetize them people for adnetworks that require installs from google.

It should be very interesting that in that list was pointed if the Store accepts APK that includes links to GP. For example, Opera (and former OVI store) allows. That way, the APK could be the same than the Google Play version (less work, of course)

Yes just about all the ones in my list accepts links to google play i use rate app button in my apps.

Dang- thanks for sharing! I know mobyaffiliates has a list too, but it is from Jan 2014: http://www.mobyaffiliates.com/blog/a-list-of-alternative-app-stores-for-distributing-your-app-or-mobile-game/
