Advertising ID ? what is this?

Hello Guys,
i received from google saying one of my apps violates their policy and I’m not using Advertising ID to show ads on in my app, i have never heard of this thing, i went on to read about it and found how to request it, however I’m not sure how to use it with admob, on admob website this thing does not seem to exist any docs about it, do you guys use it ? and how ?
