PlayMobs PPI

I just received the following email from PlayMobs:

Dear Android developers,

Are you still looking for a good marketing solution? PlayMobs team can help you to promote Android applications!
PlayMobs.com is a web application that rewards Android users with points after downloading sponsored apps.

How does promotion work?
While we have thousands of PlayMobs users that will install your application within a few days, we only charge you based on CPI (Cost Per Install). Minimum CPI price is $0.10 ( $100 = 1,000 installs )
Our service may increase your application rank on Google Play based on how much you spend. Your application will get attention to new users on Google Play.

What do you need to get started?
Go to Advertiser Sign In and make an account. Update your application information and add funds. It’s simple!

Thank you!

Best Regards,
The PlayMobs Team

Looks like they’re a new PPI advertising network, similar in many ways to Tapjoy. But instead of rewarding users with virtual in-game currency, PlayMobs claims to reward users with actual real-life cash.

PlayMobs.com is a web application that rewards Android users with points after downloading sponsored apps.
You can exchange these reward points for paid apps, PayPal money, iTunes Gift Cards, and Starbucks Gift Cards.

Has anyone used PlayMobs before - either as a user or advertiser?
What’s your experience with the company?

Update: I just downloaded their app, and looks like you get 30 points to start out with if you enter a referral at sign-up. If you want these points, feel free to sign up using my referral “obviator”. I doubt 30 points will get you far, but anyway…
